How We Work With You

At M3 Capital Management, we pride ourselves on transparency. If you are wondering what working with M3 Capital Management might look like, take a look at our onboarding method below.

  1. Initial Meeting: Learn Goals and Objectives
This in-person meeting is one of the most important building blocks of the M3 relationship. It will serve as the foundation for the work that we will do together. The purpose of this meeting is for us to learn about your goals and objectives and to get to know each other. We feel that building a strong professional relationship at this stage will lay the groundwork for a successful future.

  2. Constructing Your Financial Plan
Once your goals are fully understood, we can begin building a financial plan that speaks to what you want out of your money. We ask a series of questions so that we can fully understand the level of risk that you are comfortable with. We then construct portfolios that are aligned with your risk tolerance.

  3. Risk Management: Reviewing and Rebalancing Stage
One of the top concerns that we hear from our clients is that they don’t want to lose money. Our firm is based on having our client’s best interest at heart and a clear understanding of what is important to our clients. With that in mind, we review and rebalance where we see it is appropriate and stay focused on our clients' long-term investment goals and objectives.

  4. 90-Day Check-Ins: Keeping You Informed
Every 90 days, we call our clients and talk about the past three months in review. This conversation can be as long or as short as you want, but generally we find that these conversations are a chance to catch up and stay current. At this time, we’ll make sure that everything is still in line with your goals and objectives. We’ll talk about what many of those charts and graphs mean in terms of your big picture. These are some of the most important conversations that we have with clients.

  5. Continued Finger on the Pulse
At M3 Capital Management, we strive to offer you a practical approach to making your money work for you so that you can live your life the way you pictured it. We have our sights on the bigger picture and the details—keeping a close eye on what is going on in the markets, in the news, and in your life.
